The Company

Rogue Theatre Balet

Rogue Theatre is committed to creating daring high quality theatre which is as accessible as it is thrilling.

Founded in 2005 by Angelina Boscarelli and Ollie Oakenshield Rogue Theatre has developed a distinctive style which mixes spectacle and a strong visual style with powerful narrative and moments of high pathos.

Having travelled internationally with the Circus Angelina, Artistic Director brings to the work a discipline and a sense of danger. With a committed and highly talented team of actors, musician, designers, writer and associate artists we mix a rigorous work ethic with instinct, passion, playfulness, humour, daring, ambition and aspiration.
We draw inspiration from the world and listening to peoples stories, mixing in our work reality and the imagination.

Poetry

“Come look behind my curtains. See the players in my circus. The lost, The forgotten, The misbegotten. The laughed at and The not laughed at enough. And let me just say ladies and gentlemen. That I still have a few vacancies. And I can spot the talent amongst you. Contracts are waiting to be signed. Across my dotted lines. "
