Twenty Five is a vibrant, wild spirited festival tent which hosts and is run by performers and producers under the age of 25.
(If you look in our gallery you will see the great Micheal Eavis himself enjoying the TwentyFive Tent!)
Originally named “Mucking About With Words” Twenty Five has evolved over the past 6 years at Port Eliot Festival in Cornwall. It offers a stage to exciting new work as well as support in the lead up to the festival to explore new ideas and refine performances for the Twenty Five event.
Twenty Five has become an important and well loved part of Rogue’s work giving us the opportunity to work with exciting emerging artists and allowing us to enjoy some really exciting performances.
Funded by FEAST Twenty Five involved over 270 young people from accross Cornwall in 2010 and included a range of performances and workshops. The event also hosted a skate ramp made by Xtravert, festival film making workshops by Chew TV and a green room hosted by CYMAZ.
We are developing plans for Twenty Five at Port Eliot in 2011 and other exciting opportunities beyond.
Twenty Five has been funded in the past by:
Creative Partnerships – Arts Awards – The Works – RELAYS – FEAST.
As well as Generous support from Port Eliot Festival
