Rogue Theatre returns to the wilds of Tehidy Woods North Cliffs this December with their enchanting winter celebration; Winter Wood (with all new stories).
Created by Cornwall’s award winning highly visual Rogue Theatre, Winter Wood is an adventure for families and those who still believe in Magic.
Pass through the Woodland Gate and follow the twisting path.
Let the faeries and woodland spirits lead the way with stories and songs.
Follow the wandering path and meet Old Man Winter who will weave a tale and reveal the path to your fantastical destination, an enchanted celebration, and a wondrous festivity of wintry marvels.

Now in its 7th year Rogue’s festive woodland adventure has a more dazzling, wild and magical spirit than ever – “Each year my excitement for Winter Wood grows and grows, there is something so wonderful about celebrating winter in the woods, to wrap up tight and wonder through the trees, and then gather in a warm tent, with tales of enchantment and magic in the air. Twice listed in the Guardian Newspaper’s Top 10 Christmas Walks, and winner of a What’s On Cornwall Award 2017 for “Best Theatre Show” Winter Wood is a unique festive marvel to behold, set in the heart of the Winter Wood it is part exhilarating walk through the trees and part gathering in a warm tent where a magical story comes to life and a festival spirit unfolds.
There will be a show with live music, festive stories, winter wonders, free hot chocolate, a warm place to relax, sparkly face painting and the chance to make your own traditional winter decoration to take home.
The adventure happens three times a day at 1pm, 4pm and 6.30pm.

The adventure lasts about 2 hours and takes place in a heated marquee and along a path in the wild wood, so come prepared whatever the weather.
£8.50 per person. 3 years and under are free. (Maximum of 2 x 3 and under per adult)
Tickets include everything…hot chocolate, face painting, parking, decoration making…

Bring a torch, a warm coat, wellies, and a sense of adventure!
The path twists and turns and is bumpy under foot but should be fine for a rugged buggy!
Tehidy Woods North Cliffs Entrance Near Portreath.
Leave the A30 at the Porthtowan and Redruth Exit. Follow signs to Portreath. Drive through the village and up the hill following signs for Gwithian and Hayle. After a mile or so you will pass the Tehidy North Cliffs entrance. Follow signs for Rogue Theatre!
