Rogue Theatre King Arthur The Wild Hunt - review published in the Cornishman 13.09.12
Living in West Penwith you become accustomed to fog, the north coast around Pendeen and St Just being particularly susceptible to mist bowling in from the sea. Spooky at times, it proved the perfect special-effect for Rogue Theatre’s epic new production, King Arthur and The Wild Hunt. Their most ambitious show to date, interpreting myth and legend in the inspired setting of Tehidy Woods, we were taken on a journey through the shrouded mists of Avalon, looking for heroes and finding universal truths unchanged...

UNINHIBITED: Dancer And The Devil by Rogue Theatre
Landmark Theatre, Ilfracombe
Review: Rosanna Rothery
CALL it a twisted cabaret, a dark carnival, a freaky floorshow, the setting for this latest show by Rogue Theatre was a bizarre nightspot.
Lounge Limbo was a secret bar, a nightclub hidden in the forest, a strange combination of the decadent and the degenerative. Entertainment was an erotic and exotic variety show (singing, dancing, circus skills and audience participation) with nightmarish undertones.
A curious...

In April Rogue worked with the Heartlands team to programme and deliver an exciting and engaging programme of events for the Heartlands "Hearty Party' Launch Event.
With great bands such as Dalla, Braga Tanga, Hedluv and Passman and The Klezbians and Acoustic music from the likes of Dom Youngman and Tom Peay the event boasted a top quality sound track with special gust Newton Faulkner playing a huge crowd on the Saturday.
There was some fantastic dance and theatre too from the likes of Squashbox Theatre, Bish Bash Bosh, Cscape, Anna Murphy and Bagas De Gol.
The Friday night fire performance...

After having an amazing time in Tehidy Woods with The Dancer and The Devil we have been working on a new, exciting and magical project for families and children.
The woods take on a special quality after dark and combined with Rogue's immersive style and eye for sparkling design we are working on a memorable and magical adventure.
The Winter Wood is about traditional festivities, storytelling and magic, it's about sharing experiences and exploring the woods!
We are very excited about the project and hope to see you there!

Hi there
Just a quick message- my friend Mike & myself went to see your production at the Lowry last week.. It was a wonderful and mesmerising performance. What made it so special and unique was the gay abandon with which the whole cast threw themselves into the show. The energy was infectious and I didn\'t want it to end. In particular I will remember \'cupcakes\' which I found wickedly hilarious delivered with disinhibition. I will look forward to your next vist to the Lowry and wish you all well in your tour. Audiences are in for a treat!
