Firebird tells a tale of astonishing and dreadful beauty, about fire, about forgotten magic, revenge and the consuming flames of desire.
This is a tale of a Celtic Warrior Queen, a new world with new kings, the unrestrainable force of savage love and the cost of stealing from the old gods.

The show is performed in two halves with an interval half way.
All are welcome, from near or far!

Reasonably priced hot refreshments, cold drinks, beer, wine and cider (and Rogue’s epic Woodland Vegetable Stew) will be available to buy.
Toilets are situated near the performance area.
For your woodland adventure we recommend you bring a blanket, a warm and waterproof coat, shoes for adventure (wellies if it has been raining) and a torch.
There will be hay bales to sit on (and a few chairs for those who need), though feel free to bring cushions or fold out chairs (if you don’t mind carrying them).
The event lasts about 2 ½ hours and takes place in the woodland so come prepared whatever the weather. (We will use our fabulous canopy to cover the audience if it should rain)!

Are doorways between worlds
For they exist in this world
And yet their roots reach deep into the otherworld
Beyond the moss and earth and long forgotten buried bones
To a place of magic, where mythological beasts still roam.
We cover the audience with our marvellous canopy in the event of rain, so Firebird is the perfect immersive theatre adventure even on rainy days!
