Playing in the fading light of the woods at dusk King Arthur, will lead the audience through the trees of Tehidy Woods on a path that journeys from the rugged North Cliffs of Cornwall deep into a world of myth.
Rogue Theatre brings new blood to this ancient tale and retells the story of our great Celtic Hero, illuminating the myth with the lights of our own time.
With fire in its’ belly this tale of passion will bring to life the heart of the woods at night revealing a story of magic, love and betrayal, of fierce warriors, humanity’s greatness and how just one kiss can change the future.
Rogue invites you to journey into the woods for an experience for all the senses, an immersive theatre event that smells of wood smoke and earth and tastes of adventure.
Enter the woods, a playground of magic, home of Merlin the Mad and shadowy backdrop for a blazing tale.
Listen carefully to the echoes of the myth; they have much more to tell!
The adventure follows a trail along a winding path and the story takes place in the heart of the woods so come prepared for adventure.
The production will go ahead in all but the most extreme weathers. The trees provide a surprising amount of shelter and we have our wonderful stretch canvas to cover the audience should rain be forecast.
For your woodland adventure we recommend you bring a picnic/snacks/treats (optional), a picnic blanket, a warm and waterproof coat, shoes for adventure (wellies if it has been raining) and a torch.
There will be hay bales and log rings to sit on, though feel free to bring cushions or fold out chairs (if you don’t mind carrying them).
King Arthur is presented as part of a double bill with Blackbeard’s Heart.
(Blackbeard’s Heart performs daily at 2.30pm)
The adventure will last about 2 ½ hours.

This enables people who would not normally be able to afford to come to benefit from a free ticket generously donated by another audience member.
We are very proud that our audience shares this spirit of generosity and delighted when people benefit.
You can support Wild Card at the time of purchasing your tickets or indeed you can benefit from a Wild Card by emailing [email protected] or calling 07837 561 483.
