A new theatre adventure by the creators of Winter Wood and Wild Woodland Summer Ball.
A rework of an old Rogue Theatre Classic, a wild spirited theatrical thrill for those who dare to dream.
Ever dreamt of running away with the circus?
Combining spectacle, powerful narrative and the wild adventurous spirit Rogue has become known for, Madame Lucinda’s Wonder Show tells the stories of three souls who sign up to run away with Madame Lucinda’s Travelling Circus;
Sirus, formerly Mr Johnson, the frustrated office clerk and master magician,
LoLo, circus orphan, whose father was killed a flying pig, who now lives a life cursed with comedy
Svetlana, the dancing doll, destined to live a half-life with a broken heart trapped inside her wooden bones.
Marvel at the exquisite heartache, the torturous hilarity and breath-taking magic.
This show is for anyone who ever dared to dream.
Get lost in the thrilling world of spectacle and the macabre and wake up with fresh eyes.
With live music performed by the original musical director Ben Sutcliffe, poetry and text by Annamaria Murphy (Kneehigh Theatre (Trystan and Yseult and Red Shoes)), mesmerising vocals, illusion, magic, side splitting comedy, ballet, whip cracking, explosive physical performance, powerful narrative and Rogue’s highly visual immersive style, produced, designed and directed by Angelina and Ollie.
Journey through the doors of the imagination into a world of mystery and spectacle!
Recommended for adults and brave children.
